The proposal is being considered by the Southern Joint Regional Planning Panel. The issues raised in Question 2 are better addressed by Shoalhaven City Council as the consent authority.

* Flood Study for the proposed bridge over Tomerong Creek at Tomerong Quarry prepared by Site Plus Pty Ltd, undated.
* Hydrogeological and Geological Assessment prepared by Environmental Investigation Services (A division of Jeffery & Katauskas Pty Ltd) ref 22725ZKRrpt, dated 19 June 2009.
* Concept Landfill Design for Tomerong Waste Management Facility August 2009 prepared by Environment Resources Management Australia Pty Ltd, ref 0102149RP01.

A report on the impact of ongoing blasting in the adjacent quarry on the integrity of the proposed landfill liner, sediment ponds and other infrastructure was undertaken by the applicant and provided to the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water on 15 April 2010 by Shoalhaven City Council. The Department is currently assessing this information and will consider whether the landfill liner design addresses the relevant geological factors for the site.

1. The applicant's Environmental Impact Statement proposed a "closed" leachate collection and conveyance system, designed so that all leachate is contained on-site. Further information from the applicant was provided to the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water on 15 April 2010 by the consent authority, Shoalhaven City Council.

1. Information relating to waste generation from local government areas is not available. Landfills that can lawfully accept putrescible waste may also take non-putrescible waste, and landfills do not report separately on putrescible and non-putrescible waste received.
